London (ANTARA News) - Some Indian coal consumers which have taken predominantly South African coal during 2007 are switching to cheaper Indonesian material in tenders issued this week, Indian traders told Reuters.
Hindustan Zinc, and Calcutta Electric have issued tenders for Indonesian coal for Q1 delivery.
Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Paper Ltd (TNPL), which has always taken Indonesian coal in preference, has also tendered for Q1 coal. (*)
